"Slow and steady wins the race"
Have a look at your neighbors! What can you see? On one side, Many people running in the direction of wind without any target, a school boy who has forgotten the question itself, while chasing the question mark -on the other side, people who, in the name of "rapid technology", have forgotten their own home and who don't know the exact route to the others home, on yet another side!!!
All these dilemma have got emerged just from one root- "Fast and rapidness." We have become so 'busy' that while observing others we forget that we also do belong to the same category!
Rapidness always leads to two marvelous possibilities. Danger and laziness. All of us know the story of a rabbit which lost to a tortoise in a race, just because of its laziness. Again the cause is its fastness. Panini, the great Hindu scholar, who didn’t even know how to write a single letter in his childhood, but he steadily grew to such a height that one day he wrote the world’s biggest Sanskrit encyclopedia!!! He’s a real time example that slow and steady wins the race!
Things have changed these days. On the 11th of June, 2006 serial bomb blasts took place at Mumbai! The very next day, the newspapers published, "Mumbai has been turned to normal lifestyle!" Unfortunately, the fact is, Mumbaians lead their life so fast that, if they stay back at home worrying about the bomb attacks, they have to lose their bread and butter FOREVER! Friends, think again: Do we really need a life which is so fast that we can't even spend a minute for ourselves?
How can we win in our life then?
Life is all about comparison and competition. While walking on the way, have a look at all others. Be slow enough to compare yourself with others in a healthy way; het the good things rapidly from others. We should be slow enough to express anger and jealousness. We should be fast and first ones to help the needy, to show the love on others.
Always our efforts count. Nothing else. Greatmen rightly said:-
If you can’t run; just walk,
If you can’t walk; just crawl,
Never, never stop!
-Because speed doesn’t matter, instead steadiness matters!!!
