Self discipline

Image
"How will be your behavior when you see that nobody is observing you? Will you still be following some rules? Will you still be having some manners? Then, you are a self disciplined gentleman. Such disciplines always lead us to success. Suppose that you are given a home work in your class. The teacher will tell you that she would be checking it the next day. You'll surely do the works given. On that same day,suppose if some other teacher will give the home work, and say, he won't warn you, he won't give any punishments. Will you do the work still? If you do, then you are the self-disciplined one. Whenever we think that somebody is observing us, we'll do the best out of us. That's why we say that god is observing all the things. When we are afraid of something, we can give the society the best. If you only are observing yourself, then no need to afraid, you will always be the best. Let's take this self-discipline aspect more seriously...!

|| SHABD ||-2008 ... A fantastic fest!

Day-1: You can't believe unless and otherwise you were there in SJCE -auditorium on 19th September 2008, at 4:30PM! The audi was filled by audiences who were witnessing curiously the inaugurals of "shabd"-08. Even the chief guest Dr.Shreenath of 'Dhwanyaloka' had got surprised to see such a huge number of students for the inaugurals of a literary fest, in a technical institute! The inaugural started at sharp 4:45PM. It was announced in '93.5 S FM' (one of our media partners) that there's a screening of the movie "DWEEPA" after the inaugurals, so many people outside college were calling and asking about it! We got unbelievable response for the movie show! Thanks to you guys! Day-2: It was the "event's day." There were competitions like English debate, Creative writing in kannada and English, painting, Kannada JAM(shall I call it as the 'event of the fest'???!!!), along with many informals like Mysore quizz, cr

|| Shabd || --The inter college literary fest...

|| Shabd || --The inter college literary fest... I t was a beautiful idea of our Ed-board seniors, three years ago, to have an inter-college literary fest. In tecnical educational institutions, as you see, care for literary activity is very less. But it was in our SJCE , the principal and the staff gave amazing support to the fest, and because of this, it has seen a grand success in the past two years. This year we are organising the third year's || shabd || fest, on 19th, 20th and 21st of September, 2008. There'll be events both in Kannada and English, along with painting and photography. For each event, we'll be having resourceful judges. The vents are:- 1.SANSAD-English debate, 2.DUNDUBHI-Kannada debate, 3.MELTING THOUGHTS-English creative writing, 4.CHITTA BHITTI-Kannada CW, 5.DREAMING FINGERS-English poetry, 6.PADAGALANGALA-KAnnada poetry, 7.PUNKHANUPUNKHA-Kannada JAM, 8.CAPTURED FEELINGS-Photography, 9.STALL OF COLOURS-Painting, '10.BOOK SELLER'S QUESTION-E
